On a related note, there's kind of an "exploit" with the "offer medical assistance" missions: You accept the mission, the injured crew/prisoner comes over, rests in the bed, and leaves. The "exploit" is that they rarely fully recover so you can get repeated missions to keep offering assistance until they are fully healed. You can actually score a lot of loot this way ... especially if there are several injured crew/prisoners.
In this scenario ... I actually TURN OFF LOGISTICS to the bed so they don't burn through all my supplies. One might consider this another "exploit" because by offering a bed (even without supplies) I get credit for the mission (and loot) ... it doesn't cost me any resources ... and since they don't get any meaningful treatment, they don't heal very much ... meaning they will be back many, many, times!
That's definitely a bug in my opinion, it should require medical supplies to complete the mission.
