I've known about Eastward for a long time, but I couldn't get past Chapter 1 due to language barriers. I patiently waited for two years for the Vietnamese translation, which was made by a game modding community. Although I couldn't play continuously to finish the game (because I've been too busy with work) I kept playing whenever I had free time, little by little. Today, I completed 100% of the main storyline and about 50% of the Octopia DLC. I'm very happy with my decision; the game is great and meaningful. I'm a fan of 2D pixel games, especially ones with beautiful, colorful settings. To me, this is the most beautiful 2D pixel game I've ever played. The story gets really engaging towards the end, even though the beginning might not be very captivating. However, curiosity (and the game's beautiful scenes) kept me going until the end. I'm very happy and grateful for the efforts of the game developers. If anyone needs a recommendation, I personally suggest you own and try this game.
