I'm not saying any of these things to ♥♥♥♥ on him, but it is all undeniably true and anyone is welcome to look into the dev's posts and discord if they dont believe me. Sorry bro, but you might be better off checking back in on this game in a year. If he hasn't abandoned it by then, I'm sure he'll have dropped no more than 1 content update, judging by his update history within the last 2 years.
On top of that, so much of his behavior is just one red flag after another. Lying about update consistency (even once saying he works on the game every day), missing deadlines he set himself by almost a year atp, no communication whatsoever about what's actually being worked on, the only survey in his discord is just "how did you hear about my game" instead of anything to do with the game itself, etc. To me, it seems like he wants to give the illusion that the game is still being worked on without actually doing anything to rake in as much money as he can.
With survey questions like that, blatant lies about updates, such a high price of the game itself, backlash for false advertising regarding multiplayer so bad that he had to take down some ads and stuff, I just can't have any faith in the dude. Frankly, I'm glad the community is turning on him. This dev's behavior is exactly how devs act before they either abandon a game entirely, or release a half-baked update and slap 1.0 on it with barely any of the original goals achieved.
