MULTIPLAYER DOES NOT WORK! Online Connectivity Issues
So my buddy and I recently bought this game and we were so excited to play this game together... but any time we ATTEMPT to play together the game does not load, just gives us a black screen if i host, and gives him "waiting for other player" infinitely, I do not know what to do. Has anyone else experienced any multiplayer connectivity issues?

This is a known issue for some players. Others are able to play without issue, so it's a difficult issue to fix.

Same problem on PS5. No response on Facebook, no solution. Are you working on a fix? It's unbearable

Hi, i and a mate have bought the game on epic games.
We are not able to play in coop, as the second player gets stuck in loading screen, no matters who is the host.

I have found some others players with the same issue on steam threads, but no one mentions any fix.

So @Question_505, is there any update on this?
Maybe some port fowarding is required as some isp could block some ports which are required for the game to work correctly?

Could you trouble shoot some more? It seems like quite a few people have this issue. Maybe it's a NAT issue? I'd really like to play with my bf :(

Same case two years later, frequent disconnects when running a coop game, affecting quests and progress. From what I can tell from various sources this is still not resolved anyone ever find any fixes or any word from the development team on this? Insane to me this issue does not seem to have a resolution after so long. Multiplayer is absolutely unplayable.

Still no fix? Because I cannot play with my friend after an hour of gameplay. He can't load into the online session with the error "failed to create online session." This is highly disappointing and lowkey scamming if they refuse to acknowledge this problem even though it seems a LOT of people trying multiplayer have it. >:(

We had the same problem, and found a sollution by complete accident after trying another game (BlazBlue Entropy Effect), where it didnt connect us too. The problem there was, that my buddy uses a 144hz monitor, while I use a 60 Hz one, so we had to sync our FPS (60 in that case) and it connected right away. Out of fun we tried it then in Journey to the Savage Planet and it worked too (this time I unlocked my FPS). Maybe that might help some people.
