Delusions don't change anything

I already completed new game and went for other endings but it's dissapointing that delusions are just something that happens inside MC head and then you go on like nothing happened. I played a bit of Chaos;Head and if I remember correctly delusions there changed story, here nothing. It's just some cryptic way to create different character routes. Correct me if I am mistaken.

Nope, in this game, unlike Chaos;Head, delusions are more or less just bonus scenes that are always very clearly separated from the main story

recheck guides or something, after beating the game for the first time you pick specific delusions until at some point you get on someone's route
