We've been tinkering away on an all-new look for Carter. He didn't really feel like the augmented master hacker he is, so we decided to give him a little make-over. There are two other changes that have been requested by you!

New Additions

• A new text-epiloque screen by the voice of Fore Fathers added after the escape cut scene. (Chapter 5/4 Entry-504)
  
• A message box to skip a hacking game shown when you fail. (Chapter 2, Alice's Place and Khepra Labs)
  
• Introduced a new face model for Carter.

Hello everyone!

Thank you for the support you've shown Transient thus far, we're happy to hear that so many of you have enjoyed our adventure. We've also received workable feedback on some aspects of the game that could be improved, and for that, we thank you as well!

This update addresses some of the most common pieces of feedback, including being able to sprint from the start of the game, and skipping mini-games when you lose them.

• We introduced an option to skip both mini-games (Eldritch and Eryx). With this patch, you can choose to skip both mini-games when getting killed by the enemies.
  
• You are now able to run when the game begins.
  
• We introduced various stability improvements and collision fixes along with an improvement for triggering Steam achievements.
  
• Specifically: collision issues were fixed for the AkeleySubCE level in which the player camera was able to penetrate into some certain walls if players had run onto them.

Thank you all for your amazing feedback! We've listened and would like to share with you the first changes and bugfixes to Transient since its release earlier this week.

Here is a summary of the issues addressed with this patch:

- A Journal entry issue for an important clue corrected in English language.
- A problem with the Motion blur option corrected.
- Focusing issues with the Journal addressed.
- A couple of collision issues corrected.

Around Gamescom, we announced that Transient would be releasing in October, and that's still the case. And now that we're getting closer and closer to release, we can finally share the exact release date at the MIX Next event!

In case you're unfamiliar, The MIX Next is an online event showcasing the hottest upcoming indies, and we're honored to be a part of that. Transient will be part of the main show, which starts on October 14th around 11 AM PT / 8 PM CEST.
