Hi all,

We've just published version 1.1.5 of the Prologue. This contains a few fixes:

• Fixed bug not being able to delete saves
  
• Fixed bug not being able to store framerate
  
• No more internet connectivity required for features such as the cavern of names and the shrine
  
• Various other small fixes to performance, stability and design

We also have something else for you: a video showcase of the Arena in the full game! Know that what you're seeing is still subject to change, incomplete and not bug free. The arena will be a side activity in the full game, but it's very important to us early on to finetune combat mechanics.

Hi all,

Version 1.1.4 of Unsung Warriors - Prologue is now available for everyone to play! We've changed the following:

• Updated our controller handling tool Rewired. Now our game should recognize PS5 and Xbox Series X controllers when they're connected to your PC.
  
• Improved animation rendering backported from full game (more on that below)
  
• Some other small fixes

Those are the changes we've made. The new version should be auto updated by Steam in your library.

Ever since our successful Kickstarter campaign, we've been scaling up development. So in this post we would also like to highlight some new features coming to the full game.

We've made our animations more fluent (by improving the rendering of physics). You can see the result of this in the video below. The difference is subtle, and only visible when playing the video on 60fps. The best way to spot it is to look at the character's eyes. We've also included this feature in v1.1.4 of the Prologue.
By the way, the character you're looking at is called Aefa. You can choose between her and Einar at the start of the full game.

One of the first stretch goals of our campaign is the Arena mode. We've been working on creating artwork for this environment. The Arena (other than being a nice new game mode) is also a good place for us to start testing the combat mechanics and to create enemies for the story mode.
We've made changes to the freedom of movement for the players and added a new ledge grab. Which makes the game a bit less unforgiving when the player misses a jump. The main characters are now able to do wall grabs and ledge grabs. Wall grabs are also a nice way to design more vertical-oriented levels.
So much for this update. Thanks for reading, we'll be continuing development and will be checking back in when we have made more progress. In the mean time, please don't forget to wishlist the full game!

Hi all,

We've just pushed live v1.1.2. This contains a fix for the behaviour of the pig. Under certain circumstances, the pig would have an unlimited smell distance, and therefore walk out of the cave before you actually got there. Although this sounds like a ridiculous bug, it's really what happened. In 1.1.2, we've improved the pig smelling behaviour, so that he stays in place for you to find him.

The pig has become available as part of our Kickstarter campaign. We're already 90% funded, so the shrine in the west has changed a lot. If you go there now, you'll find a merry bunch of characters, along with a tree that you can climb. When we're fully funded, some more interesting things will unlock.

Hi all,

We've released a small update which ties in with our just launched Kickstarter campaign. More about that below.

New in this version: because we want players to keep on exploring, we've added a new secret room, the location of which was conceived at our Discord. It's very hard to find, so to add a small hint: it's only reachable in two player mode (also when one player controls both characters). You can read here in which part of the dungeon the area can be found: in the water section, though not in the water itself. For more hints, check out the secrets channel on our Discord[discordapp.com].

Today we've also launched a new Kickstarter campaign for Unsung Warriors. A successful Kickstarter campaign will allow us to speed up development towards an Early Access release. We'll have several rewards, and all reward tiers include having your name engraved in the Cavern of Names.

A successful Kickstarter campaign will allow us to speed up development towards an Early Access release. • Updated the shrine: the previous hermit has been buried. A new follower of the prophecy has taken residence in the shrine. A tree shall start growing in real time as of April 20th, as our Kickstarter progresses.
  
• Fixed bug which appeared when playing at 0 in-game sound volume
  
• Fixed bug which occured when re-assigning attack and/or jump buttons

​Hi all,

Small update on the Prologue, bumped to version 1.0.6:

• Fixed issue where player would not land when jumping on crate
  
• Fixed issue where player could walk offscreen through exit portal
  
• Skeleton archer now now rotates when player moves to it's other side (instead of shooting backwards)
  
• Minor spelling fixes here and there
