I've found an old key, I believe that still works

Whenever I click play a black box comes up for a miniscule amount of time (It looks like a console or something), then the box closes and I am unable to get into the game? Is there a fix for this yet?

Anytime I try to launch the game, it crashes before it loads anything. My screen goes black for a couple seconds and then I get sent back to windows with "splatters.exe has stopped responding" I have reinstalled multiple times as well as updated my video drivers to newest version. Any suggestions? Radeon HD 5800 and i5 3470...

I'm getting a seg fault as soon as I try and run this game (this is the first time I've run it, it's never worked). If I try and run it at the command line (outside of Steam) it ends with an error: /builddir/Splatters/Powder/CoreEngine/FileIO/ZipFile.cpp(427): Open: Unable to open patch0.pak Segmentation fault Are there any library prerequisites that I need to know about? Or any command line switches that might help me work out what's going wrong? For info, I'm running this on Debian Jessie not Ubuntu b...
