Even though I’ve only played Monster Girl Island: Prologue for about 23 minutes, it’s already clear that this game doesn’t take itself too seriously — and that’s part of the fun. The world is colorful, the character designs are unique, and there’s a definite charm to the quirky dialogue and interactions.

The story starts off with a good amount of mystery and humor, which makes it easy to get drawn in early on. The visuals are surprisingly polished for a prologue, and the characters you meet right away hint at a lot more weird and fun encounters to come.

It’s definitely not a game for everyone, but if you’re into offbeat adventures with a touch of fanservice and humor, Monster Girl Island: Prologue seems like a fun ride so far. I’m looking forward to seeing where it goes from here.
