Gear & Perks

• Fixed Triboelectricity (Static Fists) not working properly when enchanted to a very high level
  
• Fixed Unstable Current (Quavering Hand) rarely causing the player to freeze in place
  
• Fixed Flight (Icarus' Footwear) causing the player to freeze in place if the Boots were unequipped 
  while flying

Bug Fixes

• Fixed an issue with a specific sequence of actions in the end-of game screen of online games
  
• Fixed a display issue with Mouse Button icons

We've pushed a new update live! This includes lots of bug fixes, changes, and most excitingly... a new boss! 👀

A new opponent has appeared to guard the Subterranean Jungle: Rhysasys, God of the
Hunt! His Mighty Spear and Summoning Magic will keep you looking for an opening!


Warrior 🛡️
Basic Combo

• Significantly reduced distance traveled and recovery
  
• Changed projection trajectory so that it more easily leads to longer combos
  
• Improved the ability of the first two hits to juggle enemies
  
• Added combo prorate after the 3rd hit lands, overall reducing the damage of longer combos

Up+Attack Sword Slash

• Significantly reduced startup
  
• Increased damage from 250 to 300
  
• Increased the projection strength and changed the projection trajectory to be more horizontal

Shield Bash (Basic combo 1st or 2nd hit + Shield button)

• Significantly reduced startup
  
• Increased hitbox size
  
• Increased damage from 150 to 200

Shield Charge (Hold Special button + Forward)

• Reduced damage from 180 / 150 (First / Consecutive hits) to 160 / 125
  
• Significantly reduced the ability to absorb hits by blocking them during the Shield Charge in PvP Arena games

Amazon ⚔️
Basic combo

• Significantly reduced distance traveled and recovery on the 3rd hit
  
• Removed ground bounce on the 2nd hit, allowing a subsequent Turnaround Attack or Aerial Down Smash to ground bounce enemies and improve combo potential

Whirlwind attack

• Significantly reduced startup so that it can be more easily used in combos
  
• The Amazon is now able to catch her Chakram while in the ground and in hitstun from an enemy attack
  
• A successful Parry can now be cancelled into an attack earlier. It can also now be cancelled into a Chakram throw or a Wand spell

Thank you as always for your feedback on Discord [discord.com]and the Steam Forums! This round of improvements gives new strengths to the Warrior’s least used moves, and makes the Amazon even more well-rounded. As both their toolkits become more polished, tons of new combos are now possible!

Rogue 🏹

• Bonus attack speed now also reduces the charge time of the Charged Arrow

Wizard 🧙‍♂️

• The Elemental can now pick-up Gold for the Wizard

• Reduced the hitbox size of explosions from The Sun to be more in-line with the visual effect
  
• Followers no longer create explosions from The Sun

Desydera

• Slightly lowered her cooldown period after ground attacks
  
• Increased overall speed
  
• Increased ground attack damage (150 -> 175 and 250 -> 300)
  
• Increased energy shot attack damage (75 -> 90)

• A Follower can now come with you to the next level after defeating a Boss

To make Life Builds that focus around Followers more viable, one of the Followers that manages to survive a Boss Fight will help you from the start of a new level!

• The HP/Attack/Speed scaling of friendly Followers has been significantly increased, meaning that Followers found in more advanced levels will be stronger

• Increased the overall HP scaling of Bosses at higher levels
  
• Increased the damage scaling of monsters at higher levels
  
• Decreased the movement/attack speed scaling of monsters at higher levels
  
• Reduced the overall difficulty scaling at higher levels for games with 1 player

• At very high levels, there is now a limit to the number of extra monster spawns. When this threshold is reached, monster damage will start increasing drastically
  
• Increased the randomness of the Boss selection in levels with multiple possible bosses
  
• Limited the ability for a large amount of Harpies to stunlock players in the air

A few items have had limits added to their scaling to improve balance and fix issues with strong
enchants!

• Resistance (Impervious Jewel): Max Health threshold does not go below 3%
  
• Shield of Faith (Gem of Munimentum): Cooldown does not go below 2s
  
• Unstable Current (Quavering Hand): Stamina threshold does not go below 1

• The scaling factor of Time Stop (Rod of the Aeons) has been changed from 200% to 50%
  
• Plague (Blighted Gauntlet, Hand of the Scourge) has been changed to no longer have an internal cooldown, and the Attack/Defense debuff has been improved from 15% with a 50% scaling factor to 25% with a 100% scaling factor
  
• Transmuting an already enchanted item will now keep the enchant level and improve it by +10
  
• Enchanting an already enchanted item will now improve it by +20, but cost more Gold than a normal enchant

The Enchanter and Transmuter have been improved to offer useful services no matter
how far into a run you are. Be warned: you might need to prepare large amounts of gold to
sustain their costs.

• The Temporary HP Shield now depletes slightly slower when at low amounts of Shield, but much faster when at very large amounts of Shield
  
• Vampiric Hunger, which grants a stacking Temporary HP Shield when killing enemies, has been reworked from being based on the player’s max HP and now uses flat values (80 + 60 HP / perk level)
  
• Apex Predator life healed reduced from 12% (+4% / level) to 10% (+3% / level)
  
• Improved Health maximum health reduced from 16% (+8% / level) to 16% (+4% / level)

• Added the ability to bind Mouse buttons when playing with a Keyboard

This highly requested feature is now finally in! Get ready to play with your preferred WASD + Mouse layouts, or anything else that you like!

• The Log can now be accessed during runs, in the Pause menu
  
• The cooldown of Wands is now displayed in the Log
  
• An option “Always Zoom Out” is now available in the Video menu, forcing the game camera to constantly display the most zoomed-out view

This option is disabled by default and is recommended when playing on a big screen, or for people who prefer restricting camera movements as much as possible.

• Added an option to allow the game audio to keep playing while the game window is unfocused
  
• The Splash & Start screens can now also be skipped with mouse clicks

• Fixed an issue that caused NPCs and Event rooms to sometimes not appear as regularly as they should (especially the Enchanter)
  
• Fixed an issue where the Warrior’s first training challenge would not be possible to complete if the Blitz perk was acquired
  
• Fixed an issue where players could get hit by The Sun explosions after Zhur Gor'od’s intro sequence
  
• Fixed an issue where Fairies in Sylvan'Uur’s intro sequence could fail to position properly
  
• Fixed an issue where spawning a summon behind Sylvan'Uur would cause it to face to the right
  
• Fixed a typo in the Justice & Judgement text displayed when killing an Elite/Boss
  
• Fixed an issue where changing Categories in the Option menu while quitting it could result in an unstable state for the UI
  
• Fixed an issue where viewing an Item in your Inventory while another player picked-up the Rune at the end of a Boss fight could cause you to lose your Item

Patch Notes

• Fixed Desydera the Spider Queen not always spawning properly when the Ice Caves were selected as the 2nd or 3rd level
  
• Fixed an issue where the Amazon’s Aerial Up+Attack could result in unintended movement
  
• Fixed the “Best Adventure Time” statistic being overwritten even if the new time wasn’t better than the record

Did someone say... new update? ⚔️

Yes, we've pushed a new update live! This includes lots of bug fixes, changes, and a new boss!

• Added a new Boss to the Ice Caves!

After clearing the main level of the Ice Caves, you will face either Frostfang, or the newly introduced Desydera. Her special movements and magic attacks will keep you on your toes! 🕷️✨

• The difficulty scaling of the extra levels from The Moon has been reworked to grow exponentially

The level of challenge will feel similar for the first few extra levels, but as you progress monsters will scale more drastically in health, damage, speed and numbers. Put into action your best builds to take on this new challenge!

• Added 7 new HUB rooms
  
• Added 3 new Puzzle/Trial rooms
  
• Added 12 new Dungeon Sections variations

The dungeons of Bravery and Greed are ever-expanding! We are continuously adding new content to keep the feeling of discovery fresh.

Due to under-the-hood changes, resuming a run in progress that was saved from the last version of the game will not be possible between versions 1.01 and 1.02a. As always all other data will be kept intact, and we aim to avoid this issue for future version changes.

Rogue 🏹

• All basic ground Dagger Attacks, all ground Arrow attacks and Stealth activation can now be roll-cancelled earlier
  
• Aerial attacks can now be hit-cancelled much earlier into each-other
  
• Reduced the pushback distance on the 4th hit of the basic combo as well as on Aerial Down+Attack
  
• Aerial Down+Attack no longer automatically passes-through platform. You can still passthrough platforms if you hold Down while the move is active
  
• Increased the damage of Thousand Blades (Up+Attack) from 40 to 50 per hit, and 220 to 250 for the final hit
  
• The Rogue’s Life Perk Hunter’s Aim is now much more effective at aiming towards targets, especially in area with low ceiling

Warrior 🛡️

• All basic ground Attacks and the Focused Strike (Hold Attack) can now be roll-cancelled earlier
  
• Aerial attacks can now be hit-cancelled much earlier into each-other
  
• In PVP only, blocking now depletes Stamina at a faster rate

Wizard 🧙‍♂️

• All Elemental Commands, Shield (Down+Attack) and ground Elemental Summoning can now be roll-cancelled earlier

Amazon ⚔️

• All basic ground Sword Attacks and the Turnaround Attack can now be roll-cancelled earlier
  
• Aerial attacks can now be hit-cancelled much earlier into each-other
  
• Aerial Up+Attack now has a faster startup, a better hitbox and changes to the trajectory it launches enemies at to allow improved combos
  
• Slightly reduced the distance travelled on the 3rd hit of the basic combo
  
• Increased the cancel speed between the 2nd and 3rd hit of the basic combo

Changes have been made to all Classes to allow most ground attacks to be cancelled into Rolls at anytime, granting better opportunities to react to enemy attacks. Additionally, aerial attacks can be chained into each other faster, allowing for more combos!

Monsters 🐺

• Adjusted Frostfang’s main attack hitbox to be more easily avoided by jumping and reduced its damage (300 -> 275)
  
• Slightly improved the startup speed of Joknar’s flamethrower attack
  
• Increased Joknar’s and Melghor’s base HPs (12 000 -> 14 000 and 15 000 -> 17 500)
  
• Added a telegraphed animation to the Troglodyte, Animated Armor and Possessed Armor’s basic attacks

We’ve added visible startup animations to a few enemy attacks to make them more fair. Good reactions will be rewarded and allow you to dodge or even counter their attacks!

Arcana 🃏

• Explosions from The Sun do not hit Followers anymore and their damage can be mitigated by Abilities that reduce damage taken from Traps
  
• Critters and Bosses no longer create explosions from The Sun
  
• Explosions from The Sun now do 50 less damage during the first level, but will scale to higher damage values in harder levels
  
• Damage from Death will scale to higher damage values in harder levels
  
• The Fight time limits associated to The Chariot have been lowered
  
• The bonuses provided by an Elite monster (Arcanum: Justice) have been reworked
  
• Previously, the Elite itself gained +20% damage and +50% health, and provided a +15% speed aura to all monsters in the room while it was alive. Now, the Elite itself gains +100% health, and provides a +20% speed and +20% defense aura to all monsters in the room while it is alive

We’re making adjustments to Arcana to balance their effects at various stages of the game. This goes alongside the major change to The Moon in making the end-game a much more difficult challenge!

Perks & Gear 🏅

• The additional chance for a Chest to drop Gear for each additional player in a multiplayer game has been increased from 25% to 35% per additional player
  
• The Life Perk Sharing is Caring now properly shares heals received with both Allies and Followers
  
• Reduced heal share ratio (25% -> 15%)
  
• Life-leech from Soul Leech (Wizard + Darkness) has been reduced (40% +30%/lvl to 30% +15%/lvl)
  
• Reduced the amount of life drained by Absorption Aura (Unholy Chaplet) from 20~25 to 15~20
  
• Immortal Flesh (Amulet of the Lich King) has been changed to only grant temporary HP from HP loss instead of from the full damage received
  
• Improved the scaling of Plague (Blighted Gauntlets)

• Added functions to quickly add/remove Arcana, and save/restore your favorite sets!

• In Horde Mode, waves now automatically progress. The previous operation mode (using the lever to trigger the next wave) can be restored by disabling “Auto mode”
  
• Temporary HP is now kept when going from a Dungeon to a Boss level
  
• Added a “Total Playtime” display in the Log
  
• Added an option in the Video settings to reduce strobing/blinking effects
  
• The setting to show Player Outlines during Fights will now be enabled by default. It can be disabled in the Video options
  
• Slimes can now also spawn on the 3rd Level
  
• Follower Mages that have never been freed now have a much higher chance to appear
  
• Garlukk might now be more generous when freed
  
• Tweaked the color of Follower healthbars to make them easier tell apart from the players’
  
• Added visual effects to Magic Block Sockets

• Fixed an issue where negative luck would cause players to be extremely lucky in online games
  
• Fixed an issue where runs that acquired exceptionally large amounts of gold would not be counted properly
  
• Fixed an issue that caused Garlukk to sometimes be freed as a Friendly Follower when attacked
  
• Fixed an issue that caused Hell’s Maw to not properly show its surfacing animation to Client players in online games
  
• Fixed the description of the Flow ability (Gloves of Flow)
  
• Fixed the description of the Lifeforce Sap ability (Gloves of Sharing)
  
• Fixed an issue that could cause Clones from Mirror Image/Evil Twin (Wand of the Mirror/Staff of the Dark Side) to prevent players from using the wand again
  
• Fixed a visual issue when picking up a Rune while a Clone is active
  
• Fixed the “I Feel Dizzy” Achievement not displaying the proper description on the Steam UI
