Ladies and gentlemen,

it has been a long time waiting.

We are currently at the last step of QA, and we are in a progress of adding our final contents and sanding our work for greater quality(we know we can always improve, there is always a better way!).

We are working hard to launch our game by the designated release date, 31 JAN, so please wait and hold there for just a few more days.

We asked Steam for the final build review last Friday, and the game is going to be launched as soon as Steam replies back. We are certain they will reply before the 31st, but even if it takes longer, the game will be launched before the same weekend.

Info below are the questions that were frequently asked.

1. Pricing
The game will be sold at a fancy price of $9.99.

2. Length
After the continuous QA progress, we could average the lenghth of playthrough between 2 hours to 4 hours for each ending. The play time varies depending on which route you walk through, and it will sum up to more than 10 hours of gameplay to play all the storylines.

3. Streaming
We are tracking most of you reading this first met our game from a footage of Twitch/Youtube streams. We've got many questions so far, and we got many answers! But regarding our streaming policy, we decided to keep it more, conventional. We will notify you guys more about this again before the launch.

4.Soundtrack DLC
With grand applause to 'Studio EMP' for providing this awseome soundtrack despite of the tight schedule, we are releasing our WAVETRACK as a DLC of $2.99.
We provide a discount for the complete pack, 💽SUPER EDITION💽, so please consider purchasing it! (It IS an awesome track! wink wink)

5. Launch sale
To celebrate our grand release, we decided to promote a 15% discount to all the players who are kindly willing to play our small game(everybody should be happy, right?).
*This game is not going to be on a discount over 15% before our next anniversary, so think about that! 🙂

It has been a long time.
With a strong and positive desire to make this game, we could end up building this awesome team with wonderful people(by that means, university students without any experience of making a single video game).

Our game, 'The Island: In to the mist, is currently in provision of English localization.

We are aiming to launch our game during January time frame, along both Korean and 'English' version of it.
It will include fully translated images and texts in English with some full service catering (*wink wink) of Korean voice lines.

This was a bold move of ours, hoping more people to enjoy 'The Island: In to the mist' better in English.

체험판을 공개 한 후, 너무나도 많은 분들께서 ‘그 섬’에 관심을 가져주시고, 뒤이어 완성될 본편을 기대해주셨습니다.

예상하지 못한 많은 분들이 보내주신 관심과 기대에 다시 한번 감사를 드리고 싶습니다.

원래는 기본 시스템 완성과 완성되어 있던 콘텐츠로만 개발을 종료하려고 했었지만, 이렇게 많은 분들의 응원덕에 기획서에선 존재했지만, 개발은 진행되지 않은 몇몇 요소를 본편에 넣기로 결정했습니다.

이 요소들을 개발하기 하는데 오랜 기간이 걸리는 것들이 아닌, 게임 완성도를 위한 작은 요소들이오니 개발 일정이 크게 미뤄지는 것에 대해서는 걱정을 하지 않으셔도 괜찮습니다.

또한, 정말 좋은 분과 인연이 생겨, ‘그 섬’의 영문화을 진행해서 게임 출시와 함께 공개할 수 있도록 번역 작업을 진행하기로 결정이 되었습니다.

앞서 전해드린 이야기를 정리해드리자면

1. 기획서에서만 존재하고 개발에는 포함되지 않았던 요소를 완성도를 위해 추가
2. 한글, 영문 동시 발매를 위한 영문화 작업 진행

이 2가지 요소를 위해서 임의로 정해진 발매 날짜인 ‘11월 26일’에서 한 달 정도 미뤄진 ‘12월 31일’로 발매 일정을 바꾸려고 합니다.

만약 개발이 일찍 끝나게 된다면 바로 출시할 수 있도록 출시 일자를 조정할 예정입니다.
