Unfortunately, we currently have no plans for more Minoria, and are continuing our work on the Momodora series instead.

It's world design is less random. It's story is a bit more consistent, logically I mean and its more akin to a metroidvania, since every hole leads to a room and it has less spikes and other nonsense just to make the player jump and fight mobs in a particular way.
Momodora is more action oriented where not much thought has been put into how or why things are in the game. Minoria has a better established setting simply because of that.
I was a bit shocked you placed the two games in the same world, because the tech doesn't match at all. The way momodora teleporting works is vastly different for example. I recommend separating the two games and placing them in their own world.
but yeah, I'd like to see a Minoria 2 or prequel, something with the same setting elements basically. I like gothy castles anyway + nuns.
