is this spec too low for this game?

Window 10 64 bit
NVIDIA GeForce GTX1050
Intel core I7

Not really, I have the same as you except GTX1060 and I5 and it works fine for me on medium/high graphics

that odd I set everything to lowest setting and it like i'm looking at a slide show

What is your VRAM on your GPU?
Your CPU and Ram should be enough
I only have a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ ass pentium and can run max settings no issue

I got a 770-gtx and a motherboard of 11 yrs old 1st gei7 and it works smoothly w me

then it must be because of my laptop then I'm using Acer nitro5
