It absolutely should be. It Takes Two/A Way Out allows it, so does Wolfenstein Youngblood too (albeit you gotta purchase the Deluxe Edition). These types of passes should be permanent.

to everyone who the key isnt showing up for you can right click the game (NOT THE FRIEND PASS) then click manage then cd keys and give your friend that key
