this. The guy who started the pinned bug post has been active in other games dev forums, but hasn't posted anything in cta since February. Unfortunately this looks to be the case. click his name, then click view posts.

If that is indeed the case it may be worth making a post to warn others.

Am beginning to wonder myself - shame if it has been abandoned, love the game, but the bugs are a bit annoying at times, especially when you lose progress.

Hello everyone, the game is not abandoned. Devs are a small team and they also have other projects to work on, such as Motor Mechanic Simulator that is a new upcoming game of theirs. However, they will take some time to make fixes and updates for CTA, so please stay patient :)

Well,that's fine,but you had kept us waiting a long time and feedback almost nothing.Your CTA roadmaps has been postpone.we just want to know the reason and what's your new update plan.We can stay patient, but we can't stand cheat and ignore.please do not ignore us anymore and never,never cheat us.

If this is true, it would be absolutley great!
Here are many backer and tester waiting for the promises made in the kickstarter campaign.

The game ist great, but it would be a shame if it would get abnonded! Also it would be a loss of the reputation.

We would love to see more of CTA!

to be fair i would rather them delay new games and concentrate on all the bugs and updates to their current games first. the 911 operator was fine, but this game and a few of their other later games, seem.. too buggy to enjoy as much. its no wonder why theres more negative reviews showing compared to the original/first games they did

I agree they're getting lazy. The publisher needs to take more responsibility for when developers fail to deliver.

Has anyone tried reaching out to the publisher on their discord channel?

I've now done another three 4 hour stints, including saving to different save points to see if that made a difference, and I still lose the last 2 hours progress on reloading. I've even started a new game and done 4 hour sessions on that, but came up with the same problem after four hours no further progress is being saved, so what's the point in trying??

(Trying very hard to stay civil here guys but just got to say it) ... I'm really looking forward to seeing how much fun & excitement is involved in changing a car engine NOT!! - put the car mechanic on the back burner, or better, in the oven and forget about it altogether and concentrate on making CTA the game it could be - it has so much potential.

Yeah, they really messed up with this release. So much wasted opportunity. As it is it's a great foundation for something much better.
