First I went to Endless Corridor which unlocks in the 4th year, I think you need to build the facilities that Astrid wants though. And also clear the Modis Ruins boss. At Endless Corridor you can find all the items you need. You especially want Tar Fruit, wood, distill stones, carrots, red fruits and purple grapes. Look out for ones with quality traits on them. See if you can get some azure feathers while you are here for a warp gate :D
Anyway you make crimson dye and pure oil, preferably with some good quality traits, then make rainbow oil out of it. You can find lots of ingredients with hand crafted, and if you mix in some quality 2 and 3 items you can get professional as well. Make some tar as well, its ok if it isnt amazing but try to get quality 2 or 3 on it. I made rainbow oil with hand crafted and quality 3 that was 120 quality, and I made tar that was 80 quality but had quality lvl 2 on it, so when I made the paint (I used a rainbow stone Q98 with quality lvl 3 on it) I was able to get hand crafted, professional and quality 3 all on the magic paint which made it 120q. I got on-sale as well so I could wholesale it for only 1k cole :D
You only need high quality magic paint for master gatherer. You can get the other trait on the glove from using any decent level medicine thread for the first item which is easy to find in endless corridor, I had 5-6 of them by the time I was done with my gathering
