What's your favorite game in the Arland series?

For me it's hands down this one.
I played the original Rorona like once for 2 hours and enjoyed it, but ultimately forgot about it then like a year later I picked up Meruru and ended up beating it, then I think I got Totori on vita and finished that and bought Rorona Plus and finished that. Played Escha & Logy but couldn't get into it, I played Sophie and hated it so badly that I returned it. I have played some of Ryza and really enjoyed that though. Now I'm here replaying Totori again on the Steam Deck.

So far Rorona is my favorite though I sucked at it. I’m playing Sophie which is my second Atelier game. I don’t hate it, but I’m a bit disappointed in it (20 hrs). The upgraded graphics don’t have the charm of the PS3 games, and the side characters aren’t as interesting. I’m glad it doesn’t have the time restrictions though because it’s allowed me to experiment in ways I couldn’t in Rorona.

I’ll try Ryza next but I have a feeling that I’m going to prefer the PS3 games over the more modern ones.
