Are those games censored in any way?
I am a big fan of the series and i have the original on ps3. I have no trouble at all to buy a new better edition but the elephant in the room is always the same. Are those "adapted for modern audience"? Are those censored or changed in any way?

If you have to ask, you will NEVER be satisfied.

I suggest you take up a different hobby.

the arland series are the only ones who has not been HEAVILY censored on modern platform . on older platform like ps2 : atelier iris 1 , 2 ,3 and mana khemia are absolutely BASED and not censored. (u can play them using pcsx2)
After this arland series all the games have been bucthered beyound recognition . I would avoid buying them.

Not sure about the DX version but the previous international version was modified for western audiences. The game is not visually censored but has been partially rewritten. All characters are now 18 years old. The dialog was changed to be less horny and sexual compared to the japanese original. They also removed most of the love triangle scenes from the game. In other words: While there might be the odd camera angle left, you won't find any intentional fanservice in here.

The most annoying part is that the english voice acting is highly incomplete. While JP has dialogs 100% voiced, the engish version has maybe 5-10%.
