Additionally there are unique floating wisp things with a "Level X". That seems to correspond to your XP , if you aren't a level 7 for example you can't pick up Level 7 or higher. These things seem to float around you for a while then fly off. Possible re spawn points from the wisp garden?
Otherwise I have no idea either.

Using sprint (IE: W or SHIFT) will immediately disallow you to perform a double jump even if you have yet to spend your double jump during the current fall.
The game really makes me fight with its controls, I don't want to change them because they're fine as is, but the problem is, the game wants to be Super Mario 64 with Wall jumping, meaning it WANTS you to hold the button in the direction you're jumping to the next wall, but this can actually cause you to fall more often than not.
I have never, ever, been able to find the next door when I reach District 10 the 5 times I have.
