Sadly, no. Some people thought LBP would become standalone after Darling released, but that didn't happen.

Same here. I own both Steins;Gate & Steins;Gate 0. I'd love to add this one to my library but I have zero interest in elite version of original game. Just checked after long time if anything changed but it seems LBP still can't be purchased separately - which is a shame.

STEINS;GATE ELITE is not the same as Anime version.

YEs, every part is animated, which is nice, but it's not the same as Anime. Many scenes have completely different music and honestly it all fits better. I think it is the best version of Steins;Gate. If you've only watched the anime, this is worth checking out for the additional endings and science themes.

I’m fine with original VN experience. I’m not a fan of remakes. I’m sure it’s interesting as well but all I want is to be able to buy LBP separately.

there is no way you can buy the game separately on Steam, but you can earn some Steam wallet from winter sale cards, do some trading things, and you will have 50% money.. i would do that if I really want to play the game.. steam size ~ 8.30 GB

Maybe after you experience the original, Elite can be a way to re-experience the story in a different way. But I don't recommend it as the first experience with the story - both the original VN and the anime are better entry points for Steins;Gate.

Thx for suggestion but I don’t want to buy Elite. I’ve played original multiple times, seen all endings, hit all achievos etc. I could spend a bit more money into this franchise but I don’t want neither a remake nor a dating game. This is the only one I want to buy :(

you should try to ask developers, maybe they are doing giveaway, or selling steam cdkeys, there are many developers who are selling Steam cdkeys or drm versions. this would be 1st option

2nd option: Family Library Sharing. You can try ask your friends, if they have the game. STEINS;GATE: My Darling's Embrace supports "Family Sharing"

If you want only Phenogram, you can buy and then refund Elite, as you keep the license for Phenogram that way. Since MAGES doesn't want to let us buy them separatedly 3-4 years after Elite was released, I doubt they ever will.

I checked yesterday for any info about method suggested by @Blanners online but I couldn't find any reddit posts etc mentioning it. I don't think you did anything wrong, it's simply not a viable way to do it.

I tried contacting Spike Chunsoft via Twitter DMs to get any info if it will be possible to purchase Phenogram separately. Tbh current way of selling it to western audience reminds me of Activision bundling Call of Duty Modern Warfare Remastered with
Infinite Warfare on release. Difference is that Activision ended up selling Modern Warfare remaster separately.
