Myst 4 remake ?
I'd be one happy nut if myst 4 would be remade like the original with free 3d movement in this world. I'd lose myself once again!

There is no demand for it.

There actually is a decent demand for it, but the original game was developed by a different studio (Ubisoft Montreal), not Cyan.

So a remake is unlikely at best.

It'd be cool but...lol
Riven isn't even done yet (possibly far from it), let alone this game

There is no demand for it.
A developer of this app has indicated that this post answers the original topic.

Considering Riven is being remade, this was a pretty funny comment.

Did they do it completely without your participation? I thought Ubisoft were a great publisher) And what about Uru, now the Internet is more common) An online (сoop) quest and even in VR would be more interesting than in the days of dialup

URU Live is back and free (although players can donate to Cyan to help keep the servers running). You can go to the link below to make an account and play with other people online.

My guess is they are working through the catalog, and using the sales of a game like Riven to support the next game in the chain. So if the remaster of Riven does not do well, they stop remastering Myst games.

Now I will buy every game a 2nd time if they remaster it, so here is hoping Riven sells well!

Cyan would be smart to remake this before remaking Myst 3: Exile (assuming they can get around the Ubisoft publisher legal stuff) This game's interface is absolutely horrible, but I think there is a good story in there if you can move past that.
If I wasn't on a mission to play through the entire series I would have quit this game and uninstalled after the first 20 minutes, and I didn't even reach the first real puzzle after that time.
