cool game.

It's pretty fun, and definitely an upgrade to the original Lego Star Wars games! Some combat scenerios can be a little too forgiving tho, and the game does spoonfeed you puzzle solutions sometimes, but it IS a kid's game, so gotta take that into account.

Certain parts are hilarious, and it's nice hearing the Clone Wars VAs again in here! Much respects to Tom Kane for his final voice role in here.

Don't take the game too seriously. The story dialogue is mostly reused from the movies, and cutscenes are rushed. The story is really nothing special, but the game is pretty fun most of the time. Finding all the kyber bricks is mind-numbing a bit, and boring sometimes.

pros: character list is fun, controls are plenty fluid in open scenarios, plenty of worlds to explore

cons: humor is mildly amusing at best and usually just annoying; plenty of puzzles require minute control over janky parcour and shooting galleries; puzzles are never very intellectually challenging and even when the concept is, it can just be brute forced; too many side quests and brick collecting for a completionist leading to a very monotonous experience a lot of the time, especially as mission types are reused; no mod support which could fix any bugs or add features; no custom characters, which has been a staple in previous entries; no online coop which is just lazy at this point and would likely be the main way people who have grown up with lego games would be able to share the experience

NOTE: ABSOLUTELY FINISH STORY BEFORE SIDE QUESTS
I'm currently soft locked outside of a mission in the phantom menace and cannot complete the prequels any further on my 70 hr save because of trying to turn in a side quest and being unable to return to the mission area, I'll see if I can fix it, but if not, I'm uninstalling and may revisit at a later date
