WIth the Kunoichi (the new character), I have actually broken the egg via unit cards with a minor assist from a couple buildings. In particular, the card that spawns chicks at EVERY location that a firecracker went off that combat has some strong synergy with the buildings that make every animal drop a firecracker when spawned (which CAN explode during resolution of the card that spawned it). My last card played took out most of the 4th lifebar and the ENTIRETY of the 5th lifebar and still hadn't finished resolving at over 1300 units spawned (and the game going at one and a half seconds per frame, roughly)
but really importan for me would be the meaning of the devs, but they are ignoring everything i wrote...
Thank you. You changed my point of view on this game :D
which topic are these under
This is exactly it. Its a DPS check that essentially lets you create your own leader-board. The amount of times ive gone to it thinking "Oh this damage engine is bonkers" only to get checked by the egg. Other times only late into the run I realize the infinite damage monstrosity ive made. My last one was a building based deck that stacked intelligence and I won against the egg with 133k damage off of one electrical discharge.
Pure animal will be pretty tough, maybe impossible, as while there are things that would multiply animals into sufficient quantities, it is likely to crash/crawl the game. I would likely go horse gate (once you hit 4 they are self sufficent, at 5+ they auto ramp) and then see if I can amp them up. add some "swords added to all spawned animals" buildings and that can get crazy or rage. Maybe even apples/apple pain, will help, but thats linear and linear is often not enough for the egg.
Another option would be the fire at will card (i think thats the name) which lets animals have infinate range, then make a bunny pile (or alpacka pack, or whatever), and hit them with repeating dule wields. Each sword is +1 damage, and duel weild doubles sword count. if you get 20 or so rabits doing 1000 or so damage a shot, I think you could pull it off. Similar principle to knife of dreams.
Sugars motivation switch is a fairly consitant way to use animals to generate obscene int (animal generating buildings pathing over the switches), and then use spells to murder the egg.
edit: succeeded in killing the egg via animal damage, horse+gate+sword combo worked, had the "place anywhere" ability and put the gates near the egg
