Combat is extremely fast when you first start playing and you have no idea why you can play some cards and not others, or why they are discarded from your hand.
It feels like I'm playing on 2x speed all the time.
We totally agree with you. Overdungeon is real-time card game and it makes players feel fast a bit too much.
We are considering to create tutorial, something tips, techniques for beginners.
Thank you for your suggestion :D
Overdungeonはグローバルに展開しているサービスで、日本語が分からないユーザーも多くいらっしゃいます。

We also think your hand length is too narrow when you draw many cards.
Okay, we'll improve it in near future.
Thank you very much!
そうですよね、僕たちも問題に感じています
極力すぐ直しますね、ありがとうございましたー!
*slower auto attack pace: as it is basic animal card will be useless in early game, only way to use it is to throw alpaca to block enemy's spell
*make animal stronger in a way that isn't increase their number: number is good too but it could be useless at some point (ex: both upgraded alpaca blow out by just one spell) and it also make battlefield too full till it lag
*slower auto attack pace: These parameters should be adjusted. We will think twice again about it.
*make animal stronger in a way that isn't increase their number: Megamorph is one of the spells for making animal stronger. As you mentioned, upgraded alpaca blowed out by just one spell, but still it is useful since they taunted 2 spell target.
So I'm glad to hear your idea.
I find sometimes that just as my deck is close to being what I want the game is over.
Maybe only 1 or 2 fights per level longer though.
*EDIT*
Just found the option to disable abilities. Much better than my suggestion.
Looks like a lot of work has gone into the cards and I would really like more time to see and understand how they all work instead of spamming mindlessly until all is dead. How about a "pause and examine battlefield" key or slow mo mode?
