I was able to start the game and run through the tutorial on Arch Linux without issue. Game ran great, was fun, and I was excited to hop in and play with a friend. Went ahead and foolishly got me a premium pass so I could get right into earning rewards, and hit a sudden wall when trying to get into initiation matches.

It'll let me join and sometimes select a class/ability, but subsequently disconnects me before the match can actually start up.

If you're using EAC as your anticheat, it's incredibly easy to toggle on support for players on Linux via proton. You literally just reach out to EAC and ask them to enable it, and they will. It's very rare that a game can't actually support Linux players nowadays, and this is one of only two games I've encountered that will let me into the game, but not let me play matches.

As an old Ace Combat and HAWX player who also loves fantasy this was set to scratch quite the itch. I'd love to play, and I'm down the $10 for the premium pass. If the devs could please reach out about enabling Proton support I'd love to be able to play this game and become part of the community.
