who ever designed the button layout for this game needs to be hung upside down by a rope and the only way he can be let down is by pressing the X or B button, but the X and B button is VERY close to the Y button that cuts his rope making him drop into a pool of acid, hes also under a very short timer and blindfolded see how he likes it

Fun but a bit short
Can never go wrong with a game where you play a cat though.

Short and simple Metroidvania, was able to 100% it in like 4 hours. Your suit and weapon upgrades are nothing mind blowing, probably the most interesting one was your jump upgrade because having to bounce off of enemies made for a couple of kinda fun platforming sections. I also like how missles were infinite but just had a cooldown, no resource farming needed. The art style is nice and simple with customizable pallete swaps if you want to switch it up. Getting around essentially felt like a "puzzle" that put you in new situations before the last one got old, these mainly consisted of alternating between getting in and out of your suit. I thought it was fun.

I've played Doinksoft games before, so I'm familiar with their characteristic sense of humor........... I'm not a fan of it. It's pretty corny and just makes me want to skip dialogue for most of it. The cat is an A-hole (not that I really care for any of the other characters), it straight up causes the main problem for the game and then ditches the problem at the end without being held accountable or being called out for any actions. I think this was supposed to come across as funny, but again because I don't like the humor here it also ruined the little bit of plot that this game had and made me cringe more.

It's still worth checking out I guess. It's times like these that I would click a "meh" button if Steam had it because I don't exactly think this game deserves a straight up yes or no. Or just play Metroid Dread or Bloodstained if you want a way better quality game in the same genre.
