You still have to go through Ubisoft Connect, so if it's down, you can't play your single player game you purchased for $60. Should be illegal.

Ubisoft Connect doesnt work

Great game, like awsome I have played Anno sense Anno 1602, but it took me like an hour to get it to work with Ubisoft launcher that is complete garbo. I am running Linux and the game runs flawless with Linux but the launcher is a nightmare. First when I signed into my account it asked for a cd key, like bruh are we in 2005? Restarting steam fixed that somehow.

Second it takes me on average 3 tries to launch until the Ubisoft launcher does not poop itself.

Ubisoft don't say it is because Anno 1800 does not officially support Linux. Linux can run anything that is not spyware like your launcher. Your crappy launcher is literally the reason people pirate your games because you need to crack the game just to get around the stupid launcher to run the damn thing.
