Do you have to jump around the seats to play on your own?

Yes. If using the keyboard without VR use the number 1 key for driver. Number 2 for gunner. Number 3 for commander. VR control depends on which system you use.

All of the enemies and teammates can be AI, you just need to have your own human team to actually play properly.
