Let me explain... I used to play the board game Axis & Allies { LOVED IT!} with friends back in the 1980s and it was MAGNIFICENT! The Board Game is Legendary, but this { I don't know what else to call it but Trash Pile } thing that is masquerading as Axis & Allies is a stinking heap of dung, and I could see that immediately as soon as I saw the interface.
FIRST: The game isn't turn based, even though it claims to be.
It starts, and the countries simply begin playing their turns. You can't actually see what they are doing so you have NO WAY of devising a strategy to reply or counter it!
SECOND: It is a top down view and you really can't see the pieces, their movements, the battles or ANYTHING! I started as Japan and literally sat there watching the screen waiting for some indication of what was happening, then realized the Computer was playing and I actually couldn't see what the hell was going on! You can't actually see the unit pieces, but instead you are looking at the developers misguided representations of what the game pieces look like.
THIRD: You're forced to create an online account with the developer's website { which I regret doing } so you can expect SPAM in your inbox after you do that.

Hasbro originally made a PC version of Axis & Allies, that was very basic, but it actually represented the board game more faithfully than this money grabber.

Don't Waste Your Time or Money! It's simply not worth it, and I am asking for a refund.
