When playing against the computer it will always get the rolls it needs to defeat you, while you will implausibly roll more fives and sixes than you ever have in your entire life and way more than random chance would allow.

I had three submarines and one battleship go up against one cruiser (computer). Guess who won? Guess who never came close to scoring a hit?

I had two subs and a battleship go up against an aircraft carrier and a cruiser. Guess who won without losing a single ship? Guess who never came close to scoring a hit?

I had 5 infantry, two tanks and two fighters go up against three infantry. Guess who won without ever losing a single infantry?

I'd love to play this game regularly, but come on! I'm sure the developers will say "it's completely random..." but again: I've never rolled that many fives and sixes in my life. When I rolled for the five infantry, I literally rolled four sixes and one five. Great for Yatzee, not so great for Axis & Allies.

What a disappointment.

Basic old time turn base strategic game. Like chess but with WWII aspects. Was a board game back in day that any true strategist loved.

There is a bug where if you move a fighter and it has nowhere safe to land the game just keeps saying incomplete move, then freezes and restarts only to give the same error message so the game just stalls and cannot go to the next phase. This was on my iPad. Please fix this. It’s very annoying.

Very fun but not as good as the board game

Not worth it for what it costs. It closes out mid-game due to "errors", I also got the app version which doesn't work AT ALL and I cant get my money back now. This should be an easy home run, they could make bundles with different versions of the games, but instead we just get the one that barely functions.

good game, easy to use mechanics, and much faster than over the board play.

Only problem is very slight rule differences - eg for some reason fighters cannot land on friendly carriers.

Hope they update more, and also make different versions, but I don't think its likely.
