Bug: Upon interacting with or leaving campfires there’s a few frames where some materials glitch out and turn purely green
Bug: When walking with lock-on, if the lock-on is released while still holding the stick in the
direction the player is facing, the character will be locked in a the idle lock-on animation and just slide instead of walking despite the player releasing the lock on button
QoL: Some lights are extremely bright in some angles especially lights pouring in through windows and campfires
QoL: Graphics tab seems unnecessary since there is already a settings tab just put there and it would reduce menu clutter a bit
QoL: Have revolver auto snap to enemy in focus when locked on
After exiting the game and starting it back up again the audio plays at default volume. I have to enter the Game Settings for the current audio settings to trigger.

Game version 102004
Game version: latest, downloaded today at the time of release (22 May)
1. On the controller, the A and B buttons are swapped. Same goes for Up and DOWN in the D-Pad. That means if I press B, the game reads the input as A, and of course the opposite. Same for UP and DOWN for the pad. The rest of the buttons works normally and i have no other controller issues. Controller model: Logitech F310 which I used with dozens of games and never had any problem.
Steps to reproduce: none. it was like this from the start.

2. The graphics settings do not save correctly. Since the bloom effect is extremely bright and very annoying I set it to OFF in the options. Problem is, every time i open the inventory menu and then close it again, the Bloom is turned ON again, while also the other settings are reset because I noticed slight graphical differences. In the Options menu the settings are as they "should" be but in reality they reset to the default ones every time i open / close the menu. As consequence I am always blinded by the bloom effect.
Steps to reproduce: change settings, exit settings menu, open any menu again, close menu. The settings will revert to the default ones the game starts with.

3. The bloom effect is WAY too bright. To give you an idea of how bright i'm talking about, here is an image. The lights are respectively outside sun light and a fireplace:

Look at that! It's brighter than the SUN (star) outside! - Now you can udnerstand why I want bloom OFF... except it resets every time. I would very much like to keep my eyesight intact.

4. Lack of anti-aliasing. The game has absolutely zero anti-aliasing and I am playing in 1440p. There are terribly jagged edges all over the place.
To fix this on my end I used ReShade which is a graphical mod and manually injected SMAA + 32x NFAA and after that it was tolerable But for the "average" player the lack of anti aliasing could definitely be a problem if they don't know their way around reshade and such.
And before you ask: no, ReShade is not the source of any other of my problems, as I used it in probably hundreds of games for years without any issue.

5. The game has no VSYNC. That means it renders an unlimited number of frames depending how powerful my GPU is. That puts unnecessary stress on the machine, for once, and also creates screen tearing (which is what vsync prevents).
Again, i fixed this on my end by forcing vsync with an edit of the video driver settings. But again, this could be an issue for less tech savvy players. And an optimization issue: rendering unlimited frames brings the GPU usage to near 100% at all times, so overheating is a concrete possibility, since it would be as if the GPU was running a stress test all the time.

Thanks for reading. I will wait for some updates before continuing the game, at least for the controller issues and the graphics settings not saving.
- What steps did you do before you ran into the bug? Had grabbed the treasure chest on the shipwreck and then the one on the rocks near it, started swimming to shore after that and right when my character was about to step on land is when it crashed
- What version of the game are you playing? Latest version, not sure the version number off hand
Thank you.
Thank you! I'll look into this and hopefully you'll see an update for most of this stuff soon.
I'll see if this is something I can add quickly. Thanks for the suggestion!
Events that you fail can be completed later, you just have to leave the area and come back. I recommend going pretty far away before returning.
