My friend and I played Civilization V for hours today. Then we took about an hour-long break to wind down a bit. When we came back, we can't play anymore because you released a patch for Windows without letting Aspyr release a Mac patch.

What sort of idiocy is this? Why do you keep letting this happen? COORDINATE YOUR PATCH EFFORTS WITH ASPYR AND RELEASE THEM SIMULTANEOUSLY.

For anyone interested, 2K and Firaxis are giving away Civ V (vanilla version) for free for voting in the Golden Joysticks.
(or Mafia 2 if you'd rather have that, but why you would is beyond me.)

Awesome, now i can't play with my friends who play on macs. seriously, would it be so hard to wait to release this patch on steam until they had the mac patch too. we were sitting down to play and my game just updated so now we can't. I still enjoy steam and civ, but this is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.
