New Launcher Opinions

2k launcher beta
Suddenly I got a strange 2k launcher beta thing instead of old civ launcher. It's much bigger and ugly - anyone knows what's going on?

This is so clear. They want to abuse the CIV 5 players and steal players from CIV 5, so they buy CIV6. This launcher is manipulative as hell.

Yep. Just got this, myself. Not sure why they did this. It's certainly not going to encourage me to buy Civ 6 (or anything else, for that matter).

At least it doesn't remain open after launching the game. I HATE it when launchers do that. Pointless waste of system resources.

I have Civ 6 its not really worth it, although they decided to lock my content and refuse to allow me to play Civ 5 now. Fresh reinstall after everything and it won't let me do anything.

this update also destroyed the linux version. if they didnt fix it this would be an case for a lawyer

Why only Civ 6? They forgot about Civ3 and Civ4 which are probably way more better than Civ6

They need to change the ultra stupid and annoying loading/main menu music. They did the wrong update.

I read that civ6 is "smaller" and faster paced (the first might be a result of the second) which kind of killed my interest in civ6. I find it funny though because my antivirus software went berzerk and considered this launcher a virus. Since someone orange said it's a real one I guess I'll consider it a false positive
