How to use cheats as admin on my dedicated server?
Do I need to use some kind of mod or is there a way to enable the cheats as admin?
Kind of find it really dumb that dedicated servers dont allow for admins to be able to use the cheats as it might be required.

Firstly I think you mean console commands, not cheats.

You likely need a mod that you can define admins for the server that then also allows the use of commands for non-owners.

By default only the server owner can use console commands, pretty sure that's the case even for dedicated servers.

Reason why I call it cheats is because it was heavily referenced as cheats when I explored the subject. Im aware its commonly called console commands.

My dedicated server is running on a separate machine at home while I play on my main computer. I am wondering if there are any way to achieve the ability enable those features where I can do more admin stuff and use all the commands if my character is an admin.
Currently there is no way to do so atm but maybe there are mods that can be added to implement these features?

Personal side note, running gaming servers on my server computer im a bit confused by the devs not implementing admin features. Not that I am running a massive server but having the ability to manage the server while in the game would be a real nice feature and to me kind of expected since most other games have this within their games server.

Servers don't allow for the full array of devcommands under normal circumstances - being on the admin list (having your Steam/Microsoft user id in the admin.txt file) just grants access to management controls (kick, ban, etc). To use the same console commands on the server as are available in local single-player, you need this mod[thunderstore.io] installed on both the server and your client (on top of being on the admin list). This also applies when doing a client-hosted multiplayer game.
