the new food platters
with the new herbs you can buy at the vendor in the swamp you can make cool food platters. But they do not classify as food so you cannot eat them. neither can you post them on a item stand. So what can i do with them? or are they bugged?

You will get a placement device from the Bog Witch which works in a similar way as the hammer.
Meaing, equip it, r-click to open the menu and select what you want to place.
Once you got the feast placed, you can eat from it, for a limited amount of uses.

You need to buy the serving tray from the bog witch. Equip it and a menu will open that allows you to chose stuff and then to place it. In this list you´ll find the feasts and then can place them whereever you fancy.

cheers all
for though who did not try it yet, then the food you have to place on the ground is okay.
It give you 3 different kind of food types in 1 and you can eat from the basket 10 times before it disspear.. So its pretty nice to now and then while you are not figthing to grab a little food when you run past it.
It als ohad me confused for a while how do i place down this "mountain stew" or what ever it was called, but once i got the serving tray from the bog witch then it was easy to select the food in my inventory and place it on the floor. I dont think you can move it after you placed it down so be aware of that

I like the mountain platter to be honest. It's better than wolf jerky and lasts much longer.

All feasts are great tbh. 90% of the food I eat is feasts. They cost much less materials to make than other foods per serving. Since all of them last 50 minutes, they're nice and consistent (and the stats they provide decay very slowly).

Yes they are great though I think the ocean one is a waste of serpent meat considering how much hp you can get if you make serpent stew instead which is great for early game boss fights. Having to hunt serpents also kind of defeats the point of the long food duration of this feast since you´ll be spending more time hunting serpents than it is worth it in the end.
