How you think is re2 vs how it is
Now this is hilarious, I played the game normally I will say, exploring everything with map all blue that is not so a grind, and in my experience:
- I had a lot of ammo, my pistol ammo was always at 50- 60 bullets, and had all the weapons with many ammo
- the puzzles were easy
- I was being jumpscared few but few times, I played at night with headphones but if a zombie pop in front of me i was not being scared...
- I missed so few shots that i can count them on my hands

Then when I searched on internet and see comments and other players... The exact opposite of what I say, people have always 10 ammo or less and they found puzzles like the chess one hard, literally the note solve the puzzle by itself you don't even need to think...
Listen you can say to me that I'm a pro and I'm better than anyone, but I will not totally accept it... Is people that are stupid and noob for me, I only a few times played like a pro or a smart person... I was pretty chill... Ohhhh... Controller, joystick is your thing not keyboard... Well now it's clear why your aim... Play with keyboard really... I can't even imagine my play like the one I've seen, with always few ammo... Now tell me what I do right, to have a Playthrough like mine, where I could killed all the enemies if I wanted, I had the ammo...

Ok, maybe I'm a pro gamer... But I don't see it, I played normally pretty chilled... For me im normal and are other people that are "noob" Or very superficial to not explore and think... But if you say the other are normal and I'm a pro... Ok, but I'm not still convinced

And I can make this post the same with resident evil 4, 7, 8 ect...
Are people so bad at videogames... How can you have ammo problems mid game... Probably is me that I explore and think when shoot instead of shoot mindless losing all my bullets... People don't explore, don't think and hates puzzles Sometimes and are not capable of ammo management... Why they play resident evil at this point... There is cod zombie...
Isn't that called playing on Assisted difficulty though? :revs2tank:

This game takes more ammo to kill a zombie than the original. However, the game makes it so you will have enough if you don't miss a lot of shots or use them correctly.
The pistol is best for zombies, and other better weapons are for bigger enemies/bosses.

It's different, but it's not that hard, in my opinion. I think it'll take more time to get used to than other REs.

This was a lot of people's introduction to Resident Evil games, nothing against them or you.
Nobody is bad for learning. At the start, it was a heavy shock in difference compared to the other Resident Evil games. RE4/5/6 were a lot more arcadey than this, which a lot of people also got introduced into.

And not to say people weren't "bad" or as skilled as many others, but we all sucked at one point. No shame in improving and learning. :)

All of these is true... If people want to improve, because there are things that are not involved with skill, but you have to think of them like exploring or other things, and in this case a total noob can be better than a ultra pro if the noob try to do things... I see a lot of people that play these game straight with brain off and shooting enemies without think of it... Don't open map, never go back for keys or codes... Just go mindlessly

Playing mindlessly or without knowledge of the game is how some players end up with little to no ammo. I've been playing the RE games from the very beginning (pre-ordered and bought the original back in '96), so I learned very early on that you can't waste too much ammo and to always aim for the head when possible. There are plenty of players who don't do this and just go in blasting away as if they were playing an action game, especially if they get themselves into a nasty predicament and start to panic. You've got to be deliberate and exacting, and this is doubly true for the harder difficulties.

I only played RE4 and RE7 up until the remakes were a thing, I feel like it's the same case with the majority of people that played RE2R.

Zombies are bullet hogs unless you shoot at their legs and just get away, so I can see people being low on ammo assuming headshots are the most effective. There's also a lot of people that spend a good amount of time figuring out puzzles for the first time, some of them require a lot of trial and error to figure out.

You will have a huge advantage if you already know what these games are about, but even then, everyone has their own experiences on the games in the series. I don't think you should care that much

If you don't focus shot, yes.

wish i knew how weak actually are when i done my first run, limbs can (easily) be shot off and the knife makes it even easier to cut of limbs allowing you to keep zombies mostly redundent

however i was under the impression it would take something like a grenade / shotgun blast or a bunch of pistol rounds to preform meaning that headshoting was just as efficent (maybe more because it can contribute to actually killing it)

so i was using a lot of ammo (even straight up killing a zombie with pistol rounds) because of how meany times id pass an area wit the exact same zombie being in the way
"Pro Gamer" like a Pro Engineer or a Pro Athlete?

Does such a thing even exist? Do you pay the mortgage with it? Do you get a retirement fund? A healthcare package? Do you put the kids through University with it?

No such thing as a Pro Gamer. Never has been. Rubbish.

There are pro gamer scene though. Guys who are getting paid and sponsored for playing on a pro level. It may be very small portion of all players but still.
