I have about 8 hours in this save when I eventually died. Upon loading my character is unable to move and is autofiring the pistol. Is there anyway to fix this?

I bought this game a long time ago, but I remember having some issues with crashes. My 11-hour/new save has this problem: I start the game, move my character for about 2–4 seconds, and then the game freezes. Nothing happens until I press Alt+Tab to minimize it. When I switch back to the game, everything seems to work—I have sound, and it looks like I can move my character again—but the screen stays black. Help, please! 😃...

Recently, my game has been crashing every so often, sometimes randomly but also sometimes crashing when I go to save my game. I have a few mods on so that could be it, but I've installed nothing new in the past few months and my saves were working just fine previously, just wondering if anybody else has experienced something like this or if somebody knows the cause....
