Oh, that cannot be - the minimalist achievement did not pop for me and I had 3 or 4 loops. Cannot remember exactly, possibly I had the 4th loop because I didn't count in, that Duli would be such a bad boy

I saw in a walkthrough something amazing, but not sure, if that is only for consoles: the player did a 'no clip mode' with input of LT LT LT RT RT RT RB LB A A - and could walk through the cagedoor of Duli, get the plaque, did that again for getting out, then could escape the loop by running fast up to the obelisk and start the ending

I tried it out on my laptop - it works fine

I had the achievement with 3, but I think it's possible to end the game with just those 2 loops you mentioned. I think I dumbly triggered an extra loop because of a scene that went differently what I usually expected!

When I went to get the Roman plaque, for some reason, Octavia was in the shrine. And I has the dumb idea to try and talk to her and she accused me of trespassing. Bang, golden rule broken. If you sneak in while nobody is there you don't trigger the golden rule, you can grab the plaque and get away with it.

This accident allowed me to discover that the golden rule is simply about consent. Believing lies falls under consenting. When Duli grabs the make up mirror, Desius says "Don't you dare!" Had he said "You can have it!" the golden rule would not have been broken.

I did it with two loops: one after stealing the medicine for Iulia and one after making Gelarius Magistrate to open the cage with Duli in order to get the last plaque. Then I proceeded to the ending.

You could maybe get there faster when you get 1000 Denarii for the medicine, which I think is possible with the golden bow and getting the three chests with it, as well as the old chests in various places. But I haven't tried that.

Yeah that had occured to me as well. So I guess unless you can glitch into Duli's cage, I don't think you can get this achievements with only one loop?

I cheated myself into Duli's cage and got it with one loop - without cheating.. hm. No, I guess. Or you get all the money from the hidden chests in the one loop and buy the potion.

Maybe that works, I'm not sure how much Denarii is in the chests you can safely get. And I'm not sure if you can get it fast enough before Iulia dies. She dies pretty early on the day I think. Maybe if you memorize a route to all the chests.

To save Iulia, you'd need to have the medicine. To have the medicine, you'd need to know to buy it.

Also, you have to witness some questionable behavior to raise your objections in a later confrontation.

You are allowed 3 loops, but it is very well doable in 2.

No you don't have to know about it. On your first starting loop, when you have done all (A LOT) that needs to be done, just steal the vial and run for the exit (or into the room where the shoot was guarding to get some cash).
Also you do not need the golden bow for anything, so you can safely skip that part.

Perhaps it's changed in the latest version (1.3)--the golden rule only triggers if you talk to her twice. If you don't talk to her, you can waltz in, grab the tablet, and leave.

You are allowed 4 loops maximum. I know because in loop 3:

I get Galerius elected in the third loop. The first two last were setting everything up; you want Galerius running around helping everyone, which makes them want to elect him when he signs up. He then allows Duli to be freed. Then, Duli being Duli, he can't help himself, so he steals something, breaking the Golden Rule. However, you can't make it to Pluto fast enough (I tried).

Furthermore, you can do it on your first loop with No Clip. The (Xbox) controller code is posted already. You can also use console command noclip if you want. While I have no idea if the console commands disables the achievements, I know for a face the controller code does not. You can do it in two loops if:

When you reach Pluto, look to your right and shoot the glass. However, when I did this today I couldn't find it and ended up activating the conversation (save before you do just in case). Piss him off, draw your gun, or whatever to break the Golden Rule, then break the glass, steal the crown, and run away. NOTE: It helps if you enable God Mode. Xbox Controller: LT RT LB RB LT RT LB RB A A. On your next loop, throw the crown at him and brag about how you killed her in a past loop, then demand that he free everyone.
