Excellent game! Playing as Clem again was perfect for me, especially since it mirrors the first season when we had to take care of Clem as Lee. Now, we're looking after AJ, which is such a cool reflection. The group in this season is my second favorite (Season 1's group will always have my heart except for - if you know, you know). People seem divided on the romantic options with Louis or Violet, but come on, she's a human. Love is something we need to find even in that messed-up world. Some folks say Clem should only focus on AJ, and while that's a valid point, it's also 50/50 because she’s not an adult. I personally like both Violet and Louis. Some fans think you can only like one and hate the other, which is such a dumb mindset. It’s a decision-based game, so my choices are mine. The game doesn't feel repetitive even though we "go back" to taking care of a kid like in Season 1. Playing as Clem makes us feel protected from the start. This game made me cry (like all of them did, to be honest). The story is amazing, and the end of Clementine’s journey makes me sad there's no more after. I love these games with all my heart. AJ is such a good character, super smart for his age, which makes sense given the creators' contrast with Season 1's Clementine. I honestly love that. It shows Clem teaching him not to repeat her past mistakes, and in doing so, we're shaping AJ.

Honestly, this was the biggest waste of time and one of the worst finale games I have ever played. From the atrocious combat style, to the messy dialog/relationships, to the ending that is so lackluster and unfulfilling, this entire game felt like a middle finger to anyone who cared about the series. The whole game was a mess and it should have never existed. If you enjoyed the previous games DO NOT waste your time with this excuse for the final game. There was no closer, in fact the previous game is irrelevant to this one, it seems they completely gave up and pushed something out for cash.
