(Yes I don't have many hours. I have played thousands of hours prior to Growtopia on steam)

I decided to play again, I recovered my old account and logged back in. Crazy nostalgia, I was pleased to hear the same music, see the same UI, etc. I load into a few of my old worlds, and decide to go do some farming. Within 5 minutes of breaking blocks, I was unable to anymore. (I could place blocks but not break them). I spent hours researching to no avail. I asked people in game for help. The discord too. I gave up. I tried to play again the next day and was able to break blocks again. Just for it to stop working a few minutes later. This time however I saw a prompt in the chat that said I had broken my arm and was unable to punch until I perform surgery... This cost at least 25k gems for all of the supplies to do so (MIND YOU THESE ITEMS REQUIRED TO DO SURGERY DISAPPEAR AFTER BEING USED). I begged people to help me in many worlds. Eventually I managed to find ONE person in the discord willing to do this "Surgery" so I could continue playing the game.

In short: The game is nostalgic, but pointless to play ever since ubisoft took over. Servers are trash, game is a large "buy more gems" bait now.

god this game sucks now. ubi ruins everything they touch.
