Report a translation problem
Is the artwork different? Is it a recon so the later games fit into the overall story better? Seriously there has to be SOME reason.
It was put up on kickstarter as such, and after the comments flooded with people asking about the removal of it's one major selling point, or simply saying they won't buy it if it doesn't have that, and nobody was donating, they took it off kickstarter without a word and, from the looks of it, funded it themselves.
While I can see a reason for a company to want to make more serious visual novels instead of sticking to the ecchi stuff that sells so easily, I honestly don't understand why they chose to do it with the Time Tenshi series. That series filled a niche, and those that bought it did so because of that niche. It would have been a much smarter move to just make a whole new I.P for a more down-to-earth storyline, rather than waste a perfectly good franchise to make something nobody wanted or asked for.
Also the changes should be more constant makling them random feels like you can't connect with the characters as much.
