Do claims do anything other than give a reason for war?

I mean for example, does the province cost less warscore or give less AE in the war?

I've basically just been getting one claim and then going to war for everything, is that just how it is?

yes to both, less AE and less warscore needed when getting land you have claims on in peace treaties

Thanks, Is there an easy way to see what countries have claims on? I want to give my vassal their claims, but when it's occupied it just shows the occupation marking so i can't see if it's their claim or not.

you can give any territory you captured to any vassal or ally in a war and in a peace treaty it will receive those territories. It's a symbol on an occupied territory's screen which you can click on and choose a country to give to.

Afaik there isnt a way to see what claims another realm has (I might just not be aware how to see it though^^).
