Black Screen At Start Up? Don't Fear, Champion!

Greetings, Champions!
We know the Aether Horror has been causing some black screen issues for some Champions when they start up the game. Previously, we had managed to provide a workaround for most cases of this with our black-screen-fix beta.

Good news! We’ve added our black-screen-beta workaround into Version 1.3, so the beta is no more.
We’ve provided an alternative workaround, should the issue still rise.

While there is not yet a proper solve for this issue, the workaround originally present in the Steam ‘black-screen-fix’ channel is now part of the main release channel version of the game (as of v1.3.0). It is accessible by entering the command line argument -bypassheadsetcheck into the LAUNCH OPTIONS section of the Steam Until You Fall Properties.

Here's how to access that:

Locate Until You Fall in your Steam library.
Right click and select "Properties..."
Under the "General" tab, locate the "Launch Options" section.
Enter -bypassheadsetcheck into the window.
Start your game and rise again!

this parameter works for me. I'm happy to not use the old beta anymore. Thanks for this great game.

thanks, worked like a charm. i was beginning to panic when i saw y'all got the rid of the beta and my game was right back to black screen only. at least you have this workaround though.
