You mean steams builtin screenshot function? Try something else, like the windows screenshot thing or some sort of streaming software.

Yeah the built in function. I'm sure the windows screenshot key would work, but it's obviously not anywhere near as convenient for uploading as the built in function is. I ended up refunding the game due to other issues anyway, so it doesn't really matter to me.

If your using a wireless xbox 360 controller and it disconnects midgame the game will not sense it reconnect. (ex: batteries died and had to be replaced.)

You have to exit out of the game and reenter for the controller to be picked up again.

Game has froze two times when I was doing an engineer construct build, i have auto deploy constructs on in the options and was using blade, ally and mines and when i got the auto mines upgrade and tried to switch to the other constructs which auto deploy on my controller it froze the game and i had to end it in task manager. version 0.18.3.0

Edit: After a handful of back-and-forth conversations with the developers of this game, I found that the issue was on my end: the "RTSS Rivatuner Statistics Server" fps limiter software I was using conflicted with this program. By disabling that program, Nova Drift booted right up. I'm going to see if there's a workaround that I can do to get both to coexist, but for now I can start up the game with no issues. I'd just like to give a shoutout to the developers for their patience, helpfulness, and quick responses to the problem I was having. I'm very much looking forward to playing now!

I literally cannot get the game to work. I attempt to start the application, and it will bring up a blank screen for a few seconds, then it will close. Every time. I've tried a couple different changes to settings (not exhaustive), including temporarily disabling my firewall and running the program in Windows 7 compatibility mode of all things, and nothing. For reference, this is a computer that runs Path of Exile just fine. I can attach my dxdiag file to a message, if that would help (do steam dm's allow for attachments like that? never had to use it). I'm just a bit frustrated that I bought the game and can't even play it. Please let me know if there's some other info I can provide to resolve this issue... but I can't relay the game version number since I can't even access the home page.

I was playing with the ship type that allows for more drones and picked up both the drones that circle your ship and the ally that free roams. I decided to focus on only getting upgrades to improve those two things, but it didn't work out like I thought.

Each time I leveled up I had options to improve the drones/ally (for example, the option that helps them heal), but the text describing them said the same thing as when I first picked them up and added nothing to them at all.

The icons for these upgrades were all different, but they simply didn't seem to do anything. In a previous play through, I noticed the changes, but not this time. There was one upgrade that did work, and it was the one that changed the allies to be faster and more damaging.

Please excuse the excessive word use, I wasn't sure how to describe this concisely, and forgot to take screenshots at the time it happened.

In short:
Ship type that improved drones/ally etc
able to upgrade to having the four drones and two allies
All (but one of the) other upgrades for the drones and allies seemed bugged and didn't do anything

To utilize the formation upgrades, press the button to cycle through drone formations. Next time you play, look for the on screen tip which tells you the right key for your control scheme. For Keyboard, the key is "TAB"

That is not good! One issue I'm aware of, and working on, is that the game can have trouble if one alt-tabs or changes the window focus while its loading. Please ensure that isn't the problem, first (do nothing while it's loading.) The first thing I would try after that is a clean reinstall on Steam. Let's also get you a copy of the stand-alone version of the game. For that, please email chimericgames@gmail.com or pixeljammiles@pixeljam.com and tell him I sent you.

This is an upcoming feature, yes.

Thank you for your response regarding the possible drone bug.

I do remember receiving that on screen tip (up on the controller d-pad to change formations) but it didn't do anything when I tried it.

In the score screen all my high score claim I use the default weapon which is not true. It looks to me (as in I might be wrong) that when I look at one high score where I did use the default weapon and then look at another score the weapon used is changed.

edit: The change to the highscores persists through restarting the game. So it's not just a visual bug.
