I knew the first letter hint, but boy howdy, while I can see what the others are supposed to mean with that answer as I read it now, I did not even get close, and I greatly feared it coming up in game when I saw it in the notes. My only guesses were 'Kant?' and 'Khan?'
Luckily, my choices meant that I never had to solve this puzzle in game, and got the one I could solve entirely with my own deduction instead. :P

keep the post I did a review with the answer but hey im sure people will check here too. I figured it out with the first and last clue. K is not in cassarole but in Cake. The last letter is a question which is Y aka why ?. Then I just kind of ♥♥♥♥♥♥ with the options trying to actually spell something thats a word. I got kerry like on my second or third try.

Is there something I missed within the game that let you use the codeword?
Also, what about the other personal code words? There appear to be blanks that can be filled in:

The captain is
Alpha _ _

The hints in the in the notes provide you with the information you need.. no spoilers are necessary.

Which puzzle you get depends on who is scripted to talk to Gabriel. Hint: your choices in sequence 6 have no impact on who you play as in sequence 7.
