Game about balls

Animations are cool, feels like reliving the manga, but the combat is complete dog feces, and that's what's in your face most of the time;

Enemies have endless super armor, it's manageable when it's in a 1v1 but more often than not you'll be facing 2 to 3 enemies with some of them chaining super armor moves and/or spamming you from range with Ki blasts. Genuinely the worst fight experience I've had in a DB game

Want a dragon ball Z fighting game for the combat? Stop reading and play sparking zero. Nuff said

Story:
This game is one of the best Dragon Ball/Dragon Ball Z/Super games to play STORY WISE I’ve ever played and I have been playing dragon ball games since a kid on the PS2. This game has dragon ball content which makes me happy since most people never give it any attention at all, though I wish it was the FULL dragon ball story. It also has Dragon Ball Super content and surprisingly we are getting the new Daima series DLC too!, which 4 years after release shows the devs haven’t given up and want to add more adventures for us to explore . You also have the canon DBZ movies. I hope they add dragon ball GT DLC one day, if they do this will be THE story Dragon ball game. The story is easy to follow if you haven’t read/watched the series ever, it’s also a refresher if you haven’t seen DBZ in years. I don’t have anything to say about its story telling it hits the spot just right.

I don’t play dragon ball games for the combat/combos and I never have. I have always enjoyed the world and characters interactions more as a child and which turns out made me like RPG games as I grew older. So finding out this is a story driven RPG game from the world of dragon ball makes this a dream come true. I am having a great time with this game and playing all of my childhood stories. You are able to train for new abilities and upgrade them with orbs. I do agree the combat is basic and I would rather play sparking zero instead if I want a fighter game. I don’t think the devs intended this to be a fighting game and from the DLCs they added o believe they intended this to just be a story driven RPG game.
