There is a glitch where if you are running the over-night your network connection to the servers can get disconnected. What happens then is the game cannot connect to the instance of you connected to the servers which, I believe, causes the "No internet" glitch. It isn't that you have no internet, it's that you cannot connect to the instance of your account connected to the server.

The only fix I know of is to not run the game for several hours. I try to remember to close the game out before midnight which is about when my ISP tends to reset connections.

This does not work.

I've had the "No internet connection" glitch for nearly a month. I haven't run the game in over a week and it still tells me i have no internet connection.

This is on multiple devices, using different ISPs, using VPNs, etc..

this game is broken and has been since it was released and the Devs have ZERO interest in fixing it.

Go and look at how far back this very issue was first reported.
