First of all, i got this info from the BBTAG *Blazble Cross Tag Battle* forums here on Steam, so if it worked on there, i'm pretty sure it'll work on most others.
First off, if your application file got deleted and moved to Quarantine, heres a few steps to get that back.
#1: Boot up McAfee and click on the icon "Navigation".
#2: Scroll down the list to "Quarantined Items" and click it.
#3: Click the drop list of Quarantined Items and scroll down to the bottom of the page to find the most recent file/app that got deleted, click the item/items you want returned and then click "Restore".
That will return the files/apps to its original place, now on to how to not get it removed again.
#4: Return to the Navigation menu and scroll down to "Real-Time Scanning" and click it.
#5: Click the drop list named "Excluded Files", there will be a button named Add File, click that and then select the file/app from your computer memory, c-drive or d-drive, whichever you use, and select Open.
#6: This will make it so McAfee will ignore the file when it is running/booting up, all thats left is to close McAfee, run the game and hope for the best. Should you wish for McAfee to scan the item again, simply click on the file you've excluded from being scanned and then click "Remove".
A reminder that i got this infomation from another forum on Steam and its worked for me so far, and to not ask me too many questions since i honestly wouldn't know very much how to respond
