False positive. Like many AVs, they call false with games that don't have certs from big companies.
Just make an exception in the whitelist and adv threat excetion list

idk man, with that recent scare on games being bitcoin miners this is a bit sketchy

Xseed, the publisher, is a very reputable company with many games on Steam. They would not make the pc version a virus because it destriy everything they've done so far.

BitDefender is a BitFamous for false postive scans on games. :/

Check resource usage and opened/running services/processes. Only way to be sure. Very unlikely from japanese games though. Chinese/Russian cracks on the other hand...

More years old, I had the same problem today... McAfee
