Linux?

Hello,

since Life is Strange and Before the Storm are available for Linux, I have to ask…
Are there plans to release this demo (and Life is Strange 2) for Linux too?

If yes, will it be on release day or afterwards?

I would imagine eventually but I would doubt it would be anywhere near launch.

How many Squarenix products do you see for linux/steamos, compared to their full catalog? I wouldn't hold my breath.

Both of the other two LIS games have been ported to Linux but season one was a year later?

Well there are 7 right now. 8 if feral finished their Port of LIS: Before the Storm.
Those 7 Games are LIS, Tomb Raider (2013), Rise of the Tomb Raider, Lara croft go, hitman go, Deus ex mankind devided & Goetia.
Sure maybe only the GO games are "Native" by square and the others are ports by feral but still better then EA, Ubisoft or Activision

It will not be available for Linux or MAC at launch, and not for a VERY long time afterwards since the game incorporates the anti-consumer DRM, Denuvo.

I find it amusing that none of these are first party Square-Enix titles and all of them are games made by the subsidaries they own or have a relationship with. Want Final Fantasy on Linux? .... nope.

Yep, a Linux version would have been awesome on day 1 release. And with the DRM they use, I doubt I'll be able to play it on the Steam-for-Windows Snap package I recently got. Guess I'll just watch someone else play it on the 'tube.'
